VERY useful article, thank you! I agree that local search online is totally taking off. Does this mean Yellow Pages are still here to stay? Seems like they'd decrease with use and eventually disappear, however there are still folks out there without online services, so yes Yellow Pages may be here for a while longer.

TMP Directional Marketing

Thanks for the review of our 2009 ComScore study! We feel strongly about educating marketers on Local Search patterns. The bottom line is, Yellow Pages are still relevant in several key markets, but if you aren’t also focusing on online mediums such as search engine visibility, you are surely missing out on a significant portion of your potential consumers.
