Did you know?
We've been listening to your feedback in our customer
service inbox and we wanted to highlight a few features in our new UI:
1)
Furl "F"-menu - This one-stop shopping icon has a whole host of options
for you to manage your content. If you go to your archive and see this button,
click on it and you'll be able to edit, delete, view your cached copy, view detailed
information about the page, move it to a new topic, etc.,
2) Ever wanted to edit your archive en masse? We call that Bulk editing. To manage multiple items at once go to: http://furl.net/my/archive scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Enter Bulk Edit Mode". You'll have the option to click any furled item(s) on the page and then click the "F" icon menu to add them to a topic, move, mark as read, change public / private status or delete.
3) Save Dialog box: We've made a significant number of changes the past few weeks. So if you happen to have an oddly proportioned save dialog box, we recommend downloading the latest version of the Furl Button. http://furl.net/tools/install (Note: you'll need to be logged into install the new button.)
4) New lightweight registration process. Now it's incredibly easy to register for a Furl account. Tell your friends to register for a Furl account and start sharing great content today! http://www.furl.net/signups/new
5) RSS feeds - Love RSS feeds, and wish you could tap into your own Furl archive or other Furl feeds? You can. To view your own RSS feed go to http://www.furl.net/member/username.rss - once you update the username in the URL you'll be able to see your publicly furled items.

Firefox users: Another way to access your RSS feed is to go directly
to your archive, and click the orange RSS
symbol on the right-hand side of the address bar in your browser
6) And per your
requests, Tabular views:
http://www.furl.net/my/archive?vmode=tabular are now available on more than just your archive
page. You'll be able to view your archive,
other's public archives and Most Popular and Latest headlines data with this new
display type.
If you need more room
for your tags, type in a really long placeholder topic and the drop down lists as
well as your archive will automatically resize so you are able to see all of
your data.
7) Go
Arrow: Sometimes you know what you want and you only need one click
to get there. That's why we've added the Furl "go arrow." This new icon will
take you to the web page that was Furled.
8) Spam - If you see annoying spam on Furl - tap into our
easy reporting mechanism. In the Furl "F" menu you'll see a link that allows
you to report a given URL as spam. Click on it and the url will be sent to our
system for review and removal.
If you have comments about what you like or thoughts on
how we could improve - please send them to us!
Happy Furling!
Regards,
The Furl Team
